Mark Webb, Network Engineer

Mark is a Colorado native, born in Denver and currently living in Louisville. He received a degree in Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder and earned a license to practice in the State of Colorado. Engineering required using the latest technology for project management and design, which led to Mark becoming interested in creating better graphical and design tools as well as improving computer networks to allow for better collaboration for technical staff on design and construction projects. This eventually led Mark to change his career focus from engineering to programming, design, deployment and support of technology systems.
Mark completed his career change and became a network consultant full time in 1994 when he began working for a major hospital in the Denver area and a local reseller supporting many different network topologies on a national level. He spent the next eight years working to customize new technologies to improve business processes in a variety of industries that included schools, hospitals, phone companies and government agencies. Mark became certified with many hardware and software vendors to support their high-end networking equipment, implement security and deploy IP telephony projects. He gained experience in many kinds of businesses and worked as a partner to help define and deploy unique solutions for a wide variety problems while working as a consultant.

Mark was a founding member of a Colorado engineering company in 2002 and supported both the corporate network as well as providing consulting services to a variety of outside clients. He worked on strategic planning of a large data center move during this period as well as supported numerous clients in the state. In 2002, he started working full time as a technology infrastructure architect for one of the premier museums in the Denver area.

Mark became a network engineer with Rapid Networks in 2014 and has developed a great relationship with many of the clients. Mark is primarily involved in network administration, security services and deployment of new technologies for clients both here in Colorado and across the country.

Some of Mark’s outside interests include hiking, mountain biking, weight training, music and photography.
